Summer's prosperity

I delight in eating my way through the rainbow, especially when 80% of it comes from within a 20 minutes drive from my house.  This view is what sustains me through the long winters.

Abigail with her dragonfly and Tristan with his pinecone tomahawks.  (This is his current camera/picture smile.  Kind of has a vampire look going on!)  We had a great time in the sun at Riverfest and dinner with friends.  Felt like summer today!  Woohoo!

I never watched the show 30 Rock (although I was there just this past weekend.  I mean literally, we ate dinner where the ice skating rink is at Rockfeller Center and then went to the Lego store, of course.) but I always liked Tina Fey's characters on SNL.  So when a friend offered to let me borrow her book, I said sure.  So glad I did! This book reads like you are having an evening with a good friend where you end up laughing so hard you shoot soda out of your nose, several times.  A recommended read for sure - but not for the faint of heart.  Although this book is not overly raunchy or obscene, there are a colorful variety of subjects covered and word choices along the way!
